2 WOMEN RAPPED AND MURDERED
Two women in their early 30s in age raped and murdered this morning at Abrepo, a suburb of Bantama Sub-Metro in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The two dead bodies were dumped inbetween uncompleted building and the bank of River Akos near Abrepo old market and closer to Samed Hotel.
Their bodies were partly undressed. There was a strangle signs at the scene where their foot wears and hair rack discovered. The unidentified dead bodies have been sent to Suame Divisional Police command for further investigation. The police officers also discovered condom in the bags of the deceases.
At the scene was the Deputy Minister of Ashanti Region, Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang expressing sad worry about the incident. She recommended the Ghana Police Service for their tremendous effort towards the nation building and urged them to work hard to maintain the integrity of the Ghana Police Service. She further advised the individual citizens to be very sensitive about self security and develop the zeal in giving information or report to police about strangers and bad people in the communities.
The investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service, both Suame Division and Kumasi Central officers were also there at the scene for the dead bodies to and also to gather information to enable investigate into the matter.
