WE FED UP SHARING WATER WITH DOMESTIC ANIMALS – KUKUA AKETEBO RESIDENTS Residents upset over sharing water with domistic animals since a existing. According to them, Ill health is looming at Aketebo in the Suhum municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana as residents continually sharing stream water with unhealthy domestic animals such as cattles, picks and others.

The situation is not pleasant and thus the assembly man of the area, Mr. John Addo Benkoe is appealing on government, nongovernmental organizations etc. through DamakPublications ( damak233.blogspot.com ) to assist the Kukua Aketebo communities to construct boreholes for the people to forestall any health problems.
" It's a very challenging we get portable water to drink especially during the drought season" He lamented. Mr. Benkoe said there has been persistent sickness and death of domistic animals which they are afraid can be affected due to the continually sharing of water in the streams.
Hence, calling for immediate government intervention as the health of the people in the area is concerned.
DamakPublications' reporter, Akgri M. Daniel has made an effort to get contact with the member of Parliament and the government representative for Suhum constituency, Mr. Frederick Opare Ansah and Suhum municipal chief executive officer Margaret Darko to talk to but couldn't succeed yet. Further information soon. By, Akgri M. Daniel: DamakPublications.
