 Damak sanitationhealth watch cleans Tafo Government Hospital


Damak Sanitation Health watch cleaning exercise which was earmarked to come off today Saturday, 29th January, 2022, at the Tafo Government Hospital facility and its surroundings has recorded a massive turnout.


Today's clean up exercise forms part of the organization's Monthly Cleaning Exercise which is aim at supporting the government's efforts to promote good sanitation practices in the country.



The event which was organized by the organization, in it bid to officially rollout it yearly programs, the Director of Damak Sanitationhealth Watch, Mr. Mbabugri Akugri Daniel in an interview with the media after the exercise emphasized unequivocally that the prime motive of the organization is to educate, and inform the public on the need to keep the environment clean hence tasking the government to make available logistics amidst enforcing the sanitation bylaws where punitive sanctions are meted out to citizens who may defiled or dispose waste discriminately.

s of the hospital, the Tafo Municipal, Dr. Kwaku Oteng Society, the Assemblyman for the Tafo-Nyieaso and the Tafo Homecoming Youth for their overwhelming support and contribution toward the success of the exercise.


On her part, the Tafo Minicipal Environmental Office representative, Madam Linda Owusu lauds Damak Sanitation Health Watch for the gesture urging all and sundry to do as much as they can to help the municipal sanitation drive as they aim at embarking on already-planned strategic measures to confront the fight of clean environment.


She went further to announce that the outfit is committed to ensure that every household has access to toilet facility. Added, the initiative, will enhance their efforts to promote one household, one toilet comapign drive in the municipality.


That notwithstanding, the founder and chairman of Dr. Kwaku Oteng Soiceity-Ghana, Mr. James Aurthor Darko said the steeps took by Damak Sanitation will go along way to serve as a tool of advice to the public so as to keep guard in keeping their communities clean...because cleanliness is next to Godness thus, Dr. Kwaku Oteng Society believes in taking part in cleaning the Tafo Government Hospital will improve the hospital sanitation situation.



The Assembly man for the Tafo-Nyieaso Electoral Area, Hon. Alhaji Bashiru Mohammed Gambo who leads the exercise stressed that sanitation is a huge challenge confronting the country and for Damak Sanitation to choose Tafo municipality,, is a laudable approach and urged the people of Tafo to be law abiding   citizens not to engage in conducts that may have the tendency of inflicting the community with waste.
