DAMAK SANITATION WATCH AND HEALTH DONATE CLOTHES AND FOOD TO SEVEN NEEDY CHILDREN AT NWINESO NO.1
In response to our earlier publication about a mother of 8 whose father is dead in Nwineso No. 1, a suburb of Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, the outfit- Damak Sanitation Watch and Health has donated 100 pieces of clothing, 25kg bag of rice, oil, biscuit tomato paste and sandals and registered them into the Ghana Health Insurance Scheme to unbridle the burden of Madam Martha Daakuwuah from feeding, clothing and health care cost.
Receiving the items on behalf of Madam Martha were; the chief of the community, Nana Kwame Dapaah, the assemblyman, Mr. Kwame Atinka, and unit committee chairman, Mr. Fatao Seidu.
Nana Kwame Dapaah thanked Damak Sanitation Watch and Health for the kind gesture and as the Over Twist will always ask for more, appealed to individual benevolent, non-governmental organizations to also come to the aid of other needy children whose parents are dead in the community.

Dappah, the Assemblyman and unit committee chairman jointly expressed lengthily on the community challenges as; health care, water, toilet facility and more importantly the uncompleted clinic which has started by the community elders. The clinic is at the lintel level they confirmed, when completed, will save pregnant women who lost their lives during childbirth. ''People in the community have to walk 8 miles to access health care coupled with the bad road network and appeal to civil society organizations, NGOs and other corporate bodies to help them complete the clinic to enable them to have access to health service''.
The Chief Executive Officer of Damak Sanitation Watch and health, Mr. Daniel Mbabugri Akgri thanked the sponsors of the project…Ruth Petitjean-Plattner, an author and columnist from Switzerland for the love and concern she shown to Madam Martha and her children and the entire community. Added, the concerns and problems of needy children living in deprived communities as well as health, sanitation and water challenges, the outfit will continue in its resolving role in our quest to support them. He however assured elders of the community that the outfit will communicate with our sponsors about their challenges especially the community water system and the uncompleted clinic projects. He advised Madam Martha as a matter of health precautions, and to take good care of the children.
