Ghana’s coronavirus case count rises to 3,091 with 303 recoveries and 18 death
Ghana has recorded 372 more novel Coronavirus cases, making the total case count 3,091, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced.
According to the GHS, nine more patients have recovered and discharged making the total number of recoveries 303 as at 7th May, 2020. The death toll, according to the GHS update is still 18.
Ghana Health Service update report says, a total of 137,924 tests have been done so far. Ghana Health Service through the minister of information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah had given the regional breakdown statistics as; The Bono region becomes the latest of the 16 regions to record its first case.
The Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East remain the only regions in Ghana yet to record a case. Greater Accra Region – 2,579 Ashanti Region – 165 Eastern Region – 95 Western North Region – 56 Central Region – 50 Western Region – 32 Volta Region – 30 Upper East Region – 26 Oti Region – 23 Upper West Region – 19 Northern Region – 13 North East Region – 2 Bono Region – 1 Savannah Region – 0 Ahafo Region – 0 Bono East Region – 0 By Akgri M.
