Many are of the view that Gospel Musicians who are famous for hit songs are all rich but the reality is that most of them are living broke lives and not what is perceived.
Such is the situation of Gospel Musician, Hannah Marfo who is currently struggling raise GH¢43,000 17-year-old daughter to undergo a life-saving surgery.
She admitted enjoying fame at the peak of her career but said that did not translate into cash intimating that her life was rather impoverished at the time.
The musician who earlier pleaded to the general public she needed an amount of GH¢43,000 for the treatment of her ailing daughter lamented her present sorry state.
“Apart from having the fame, music as a career didn’t fetch me much wealth”, she revealed.
The singer expressed great gratitude to people who have been good to her and also the President of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Bice Osei Kuffour and other Good Samaritans for showing concern.
